ResponsibilitiesClinical Regulatory Research Coordinator Providence is calling a Clinical Regulatory Research Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR. In this position, you will: * Function under the supervision of the Regional Research Regulatory Manager. * Coordinate and maintain regulatory activities related to the various types of research studies conducted at Portland Health & Services (PH&S) Research Programs. * Have duties which includes, but is not limited to writing or revising study-related documents to be submitted to IRB or other regulatory bodies, preparation and maintenance of regulatory documents, the use and upkeep of the Clinical Trial Management system, and implementation of regulatory systems and processes. * Interact closely with institutional investigators, industry sponsors, cooperative group operations offices, and research programs. * Collaborate with the Clinical Research Team members throughout study completion. * Uphold the standards of confidentiality, attendance and punctuality. Required qualifications for this position include: * Bachelor degree -or- equivalent experience required with courses in public health, community program development, psychology/sociology, and research. * 2 years experience of data entry/registry experience * Experience with medical terminology, tumor registries, or clinical research * Basic understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) regulations, and clinical trial monitoring with an emphasis on regulatory process and compliance * Familiarity with OHRP guidelines * Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft software applications (mainly Word and Excel), Internet, and e-mail Preferred qualifications for this position include: * Bachelors degree * Previous regulatory experience including IRB submissions * Clinical trials experience ** About Providence in Oregon** As the largest healthcare system and largest private employer in Oregon, Providence offers exceptional work environments and unparalleled career opportunities.
