a Psychology Intern to Providence Family Medicine Residency in Anchorage, Alaska** ** ** We are seeking a Psychology Intern to provide clinical services in the medical and inpatient settings under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Based on their academic credentials and clinical experience, Psychology Interns provide consultation and supervision to other behavioral health clinicians and university students. **In this position you will: ** * Coordinate and facilitate psychological assessments. * Provide relevant recommendations to support identified goals for patients. * Provide feedback to guardians and when clinically indicated to patients regarding assessment and recommendations. * Provide accurate and timely documentation. * Participate and confer with treatment team weekly regarding patients progress, plans, needs, goals and discharge disposition. * Implement care/services that recognize age/diversity specific needs/issues of customers served. **Required qualifications for this position include: ** * Currently enrolled in a doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in Clinical, Counseling, Organizational, or School Psychology * 2 years equivalent of clinical/counseling experience * LPA (licensed psychological associate) or LPC (licensed professional counselor) **Preferred qualifications for this position include: ** * Masters Degree in in Clinical, Counseling, Organizational, or School Psychology About Providence Alaska Medical Center Providence Health & Services Alaska is among nations best employers for healthy lifestyles!
