As an ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK with LIBERTY PACKAGING, you will play a key role in ensuring accuracy in accounts receivable, collections, new account set up and account maintenance. You will also, deposit live checks, process credits and perform daily invoicing.

This full-time position reports directly to the FINANCE MANAGER and is located at Liberty Packaging’s manufacturing plant in Golden Valley, Minnesota.

Required Skills

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Review status of accounts and initiate collection action by contacting accounts according to collection procedures
• Invoice customers daily
• Receive and apply customer payments timely and accurately
• Effectively and professionally respond to customer requests including discrepancies and statement questions
• Partner with Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure accuracy of credits issued to external customers
• Set-up new customer accounts
• Manage cash in advance and credit card customer accounts
• Run credit reports on new customers
• Collaborate with your Accounting team peers to ensure daily/weekly/monthly tasks are completed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Business or technical school degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years business experience, experience within a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office business software – Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
• Amtech/Imaginera experience is a plus
