As the SHIPPING CLERK with LIBERTY PACKAGING, you will be in charge of processing the receipt and shipment of materials and products at our corrugated box plant.

This full-time position reports directly to the SHIPPING SUPERVISOR and is located at Liberty Packaging’s manufacturing plant in Papillion, Nebraska.

1ST SHIFT: Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Required Skills

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Pick orders, drive forklift or box truck
• Clear product from assembly lines
• Load trucks for daily shipments
• Receive and process Returned Goods
• Creating maximum load shipments while ensuring a high level of quality in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Work in a manner that emphasizes safety of self and others.   Follows all safety policies and guidelines
• Provide support in production as requested or needed
• Verify receipts against invoices, shipments against customer orders
• Resolve discrepancies
• Prepare shipping documents
• Maintain inventory records in system
• Route/transport product to appropriate location

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of previous experience in Shipping/Receiving preferred
• Must be stand-up and sit down forklift certified (or willing to become)  
• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, twist and lift for 8+ hours per day
• Must possess good computer skills (past experience with the JDE ERP computer system a plus)
• Must be detail oriented
