    Chief Executive Officer - Outreach CEO of Chadron Community Hospital and Health Services in Chadron, NebraskaChadron Community Hospital and Health Services [CCHHS] in Chadron, Nebraska provides quality health care to the Panhandle of Nebraska and surrounding communities in Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming. This Critical Access Hospital provides medical and surgical care, obstetrics and newborn care, emergency care, and rehabilitation services. Also available are a wide range of visiting specialists, who come to Chadron to see their patients, bringing specialist care closer to home. The newer hospital was completed in 2010 and is recognized nationally as one of the premier critical access hospitals in the country. CCHHS includes Prairie Pines Lodge that is an innovative and logical improvement to the alternatives of housing for retired adults with 47 one and two bedroom independent living apartments are offered, along with 20 assisted living apartments. Chadron Community Hospital and Health Services and Regional West Health Services, located in Scottsbluff, Nebraska have a partnership where the CEO for Chadron Community Hospital and Health Services is employed by Regional West Health Services. The CCHHS CEO reports directly to the CCHHS Board and CEO of RWHS.The CCHHS CEO will render full-time, professional services to Chadron Community Hospital and Healthcare Service in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer. The CEO will faithfully and to the best of their ability, perform all duties that may be required by the position as CEO and all duties set forth in the Hospitals governing laws, regulations, contracts and bylaws of the Board of Directors, to implement the strategic goals and objectives of the facility. The CEO plans, develops, and establishes policies and objectives of organization in accordance with board directives. The CEO develops business goals and policies to coordinate functions between divisions and departments and also directs formulation of financial programs to provide funding for operations. Education and Experience: EDUCATION: The CEO will possess a MHA, MBA, or MS in health administration/nursing, business administration, or related field with three to five years of operations level experience working with Critical Access Hospitals (CAH). LICENSURE: Long term Care credentials preferable. EXPERIENCE: Three to five years of management and/or Business Administration experience required. Current knowledge and demonstrable successful operations, management and performance improvement experience required for a CAH or hospital of similar or larger complexities as CCHHS.
