Riverside is looking for a detail-oriented, compassionate Remote Medical Assistant to support our outpatient psychiatric teams. If you love keeping things organized, communicating clearly, and helping clinical teams deliver great care, this role is for you. You’ll be a vital link between clients, clinicians, and systems — helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
Administrative & Program Support
Request and manage outside medical records
Maintain accurate, confidential client records
Create and manage databases and spreadsheets
Support front-office administrative functions as needed
Collaborate with clinicians, supervisors, and external providers
Clinical & Medical Support
Schedule psychiatric medication appointments
Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, referrals, and follow-ups
Support prescription prior authorizations (oral & injectable)
Assist with lab and testing orders
Coordinate urgent medication evaluations with leadership
Track consents and ensure files are up to date
Complete post-discharge follow-up calls and documentation
Monitor Bamboo Health Ping alerts and notify clinical staff of admissions
Schedule : Full Time, 40 hours
Pay Rate: $23.33/hourly
Location: Remote - candidates from MA, RI, CT, and NH will be considered

Required Skills
Required Experience
High School degree required with some college coursework preferred.
Medical Assistant certificate/diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
Certified Medical Assistant strongly preferred.
One to two years of experience in an office environment.
