    Position Overview
    Fischer Restoration is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Restoration & Remodeling Technician to join our team. This position requires hands-on expertise in multiple trades, including light drywall work, painting, basic electrical and plumbing, carpentry, installations, tile work, and flooring. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship, and be able to manage projects with professionalism from start to finish.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform skilled work in light drywall repair, patching, texturing, and finishing.

    • Handle painting preparation, priming, and finish work to a professional standard.

    • Complete light electrical tasks such as fixture installation, outlet replacement, and troubleshooting.

    • Perform basic plumbing tasks including fixture installation, minor repairs, and leak troubleshooting.

    • Conduct general carpentry, including framing repairs, trim installation, door/window installation, and cabinetry adjustments.

    • Install and repair tile, including backsplashes, shower surrounds, and flooring.

    • Install and repair flooring including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile.

    • Safely operate tools and equipment in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA/Washington State regulations.

    • Work directly with customers, project managers, and team members to ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.

    • Maintain a clean and organized job site.

    • Document work performed, including before-and-after photos and progress updates.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in multiple trades.

    • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

    • Ability to read and interpret work orders, plans, and specifications.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor settings.
