    Assistant Program Director of Behavioral Health Outpatient Services

    Independent Licensure Required: LMHC or LICSW

    Riverside Community Care is seeking an Assistant Program Director of Behavioral Health Outpatient Services. The Somerville Outpatient Center has approximately 40 employees and serves close to 1000 children, adolescents and adults. We provide individual, couples, family and group therapy within a highly collegial and multidisciplinary environment. Services are provided using a hybrid model in person and via telehealth.

    In this vital role, the Assistant Program Director of Behavioral Health Outpatient Services oversees, plans, administers, and supervises program management and development.

    The Assistant Program Director will:

    • Work closely with the Program Director to plan, direct, and participate in the daily operation of the Outpatient Program.
    • Ensure quality of care, appropriate staffing, and staff support.
    • Supervise some clinical staff.
    • Participate in the wider service system to ensure continuity of consumer care.
    • Provide direct clinical services to a caseload of individuals, families and groups representing a cross-section of the clinic population.
    • Provide support for essential duties and functions that are applicable and necessary during the Program Director’s absence.

    Schedule : 40-hour full time. with the option of fully in-person or hybrid-days to be determined.

    Pay Rate : $80,000/salaried

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Social Work required
    • Independent Licensure of LMHC or LICSW required
    • Minimum of three years of experience working in a managerial/supervisory or administrative capacity in a similar mental health setting.
    • Minimum of four years of clinical experience (or three years post-LMHC) with children, adolescents and/or adults with significant emotional and behavioral challenges.
    • Experience providing clinical supervision
