Position is contingent upon contract award.
As the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Technical Representative/SME , you will be responsible for guiding and assisting the overall ATC Radar and Tower Facility operations for all contract locations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for resolving issues, problems, and concerns affecting flight safety and the orderly flow of air traffic.
- Coordinates with contractor site leads, contractor controllers, and government personnel to obtain information and data needed to conduct root cause analysis, make determinations, design course(s) of action, and provide advice or decisions to resolve issues, problems, and concerns in a timely manner.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an approved DoD or FAA ATC course.
- Twelve (12) years of consecutive ATC experience working in both Control Tower and Radar Facilities.
- Previous experience as an Air Traffic Manager/Chief Controller for either Control Tower or a Radar Facility.
**LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS: **
- Shall have held a certification (ATCS certificate, FAA Credential, FAA, or DoD training records) for a Radar Facility.
- Shall have held an FAA (or international equivalent) Control Tower Operator (CTO) certificate or FAA Credential with Tower rating.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: ****
- Thoroughly familiar with radar and control tower operations, and the required separation of aircraft.
- Full working knowledge of radar/manual approach control operations, control tower operations, ATC training/certification requirements, and flight planning.
- Extensive knowledge of ATC rules, regulations, and techniques for both control tower and approach control operations.

- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD SEVENTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
