As the Supervising Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the behind-the-wheel training environment, while adhering to a strict safety standards and ensuring your students’ well-being. The ideal candidate has experience developing training curriculum, has an impeccable driving record, and enjoys teaching. If this describes you, then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Instructs students on proper driving techniques in an effort to pass state driving road test.
Ensures the vehicle is operational and safe for each student.
Maintains accurate schedule of training sessions.
Keeps detailed and accurate reports of driving sessions as mandated by the motor vehicle commission.
Plan and adapt routes in advance to develop students capabilities on an individual basis.
Adheres to all legal requirements and maintains all license requirements.
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly.
Assist students with behind-the-wheel instruction in a safe manner.
Engage with students in a friendly and courteous manner.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years-old.
Must be currently licensed as a driving school instructor for at least two years in the State of New Jersey.
Must have successfully completed at least 500 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.

Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic citations.
Ability to pass drug test.
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Ability to follow GPS directions.
