Pharmacy Intern P1 Unity Hospital/en-US/RRH/job/Unity-Hospital/Pharmacy-Intern-P1_REQ_91385/apply SUMMARY The Pharmacy Internship program is a progressive program designed to prepare pharmacy students to function as fully competent pharmacists upon completion.nbsp; Pharmacy Students are provided opportunities to experience distributive and clinical activities to enhance their formal education.nbsp; Per NYS regulations, all activities performed by a pharmacy student are supervised by a licensed pharmacist. The supervising pharmacist assumes the responsibility for training the student. ATTRIBUTES * The Pharmacy Student must be enrolled in a college of pharmacy that has been accredited by the ACPE (Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education). A college of pharmacy that has been granted preaccreditation status (precandidate or candidate status) by the ACPE will be considered accredited for the purposes of this internship program. RESPONSIBILITIES * Works independently to complete projects as assigned. * Performs all functions of the Pharmacy Assistant and Pharmacy Technician job descriptions * Develops project management skills. * Able to collect and analyze data. * Contributes to a positive working relationship with members of the healthcare team.
