    Rogers Behavioral Health, a nationally recognized leader in behavioral health services, is seeking a POOL (PRN) Master’s Level Counselor to join our team on our DAY shift.

     

    In this role you will provide therapeutic treatment services in individual, family and group settings.  You will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to develop the plan of care, including implementing goals and interventions.  Successful candidates will advocate for and support our patients.

     

    The ideal candidate will possess:

     

    • Master’s degree in Social Work or Licensed Professional Counselor.
    • Current Wisconsin SW/LPC license in good standing (APSW, LCSW, LPC-IT, LPC).
    • If working with the addictions population, WI substance abuse license (SAC-IT, SAC, CSAC).
    • 2 years working in a behavioral health clinical setting.

    Required Skills

    1. Current American Heart Association CPR certification or American Red Cross Professional Rescue is required upon hire. Annual re-certification required.

    2. Formal training in management of the aggressive patient within sixty (60) days of hire/transfer date. Annual re-certification is required.

     

    3.. Employees at Child/Adolescent Day Treatment programs licensed under HFS -40 are required to have one year of experience working in a clinical setting serving children with mental health disorders.

    Required Experience

    1. Master''s Degree, MS/MSW, required/established completion date for MSW or related mental health field. Completion date must have prior approval from the manager of Social Services and Human Resources director.
    2. A minimum of three (3) years'' experience in a similar capacity in a health care or related area.
    3. An understanding and thorough knowledge of consultation, the community and its resources, dynamics of human growth and behavior, and intervention skills and techniques.
    4. Ongoing education in the above areas.
