    Employment Type:Full timeShift:Description:Reporting to the Director Graduate Medical Ed Prog, GME-Administration, this position is responsible to provide for the administration, support and coordination of the accredited/non-accredited specialty-specific medical residency/fellowship/medical student training programs. This position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative, organizational skills andindependent judgment. The incumbent will continually assess and monitor a wide range of programmatic issues including recruiting residents, developing specialty-specific medical residency projects and activities, maintaining databases, communicating with Program leaderships, faculty and residents regarding a range of issues, and managing internal and external specialty-specific program relations.1. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or education is preferred.2. Three (3) years of office, educational, or healthcare administration is required.3. Strong ability to coordinate schedules, prioritize heavy workload and maintain an organized work environment is required.4. Effective written and oral communication skills are required.5. Excellent working knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook is required. Working knowledge of resident scheduling and tracking software such as AMION and/or New Innovations is preferred.6. Ability to handle sensitive information (including both learner and patient information) with absolute confidentiality is required.7.
