    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Salesforce Administrator will provide data management, analysis, and reporting for all programmatic and administrative functions across the agency. The goal of this position will be to ensure that external program deliverables and internal reports are completed on time and with fidelity and that internal processes (including those supporting finance, development, and human resources) are created and maintained to inform integrated decision-making for the organization. This role is central to the retention of current funders and expansion of programs based upon high-quality data collection and visualization and the support of effective, data-driven decision-making for all aspects of the agency. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will ensure program and administrative staff across the agency are effectively trained and supported in using the Salesforce platform for each specific function and ensure a comprehensive evaluation of all Gads Hill Center programs and functions. This position will be responsible for the overall effectiveness of the agency’s use of the Salesforce platform in all instances created by the organization and will serve to both configure Salesforce solutions within the agency and supervise vendors contracted to provide services to the platform.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Ensures optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products.

    2. Upgrades and configures Salesforce systems for optimized integration.

    3. Maintains the agency’s Salesforce instance, ensuring user accounts are up to date and providing technical support to staff. This includes troubleshooting errors, creating reports and dashboards, as well as building out new functionality.

    4. Provide training to new staff on the functionality of the Salesforce database.

    5. Maintains the annual evaluation cycle calendar for the agency, ensuring that all parties involved provide and receive reports, documents, and information accordingly.

    6. Ensures assigned staff enter data into the evaluation database by evaluation timeline.

    7. Collects and maintains program evaluation information for grant writing and reporting. Monitor data quality of programs, ensuring managers are on track with grant deliverables.

    8. Trains and assists staff in developing goals, outcomes, and evaluation requirements for grant writing and reporting.

    9. Facilitates annual evaluation meetings for each program’s staff and adjusts logic models, program goals, and outcomes based on the previous year’s evaluation.

    10. Serves as agency liaison to Chicago Benchmarking Collaborative and attends Collaborative meetings and trainings.

    11. Collects and aggregates monthly program enrollment reports and annual staff surveys for agency monitoring purposes.

    12. Performs database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing.

    13. Evaluate and install new Salesforce releases, as well as provide training and support.

    14. Documents processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.

    15. Prepares reports for program, development, and other departments.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification.
    2. A bachelor's degree in computer science would be advantageous.
    3. 2-3 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator in a similar environment.
    4. Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems.
    5. Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration.
    6. Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases.
    7. In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities.
    8. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
    9. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Word required
    10. Knowledge of advanced visualization software, like Tableau, preferred
    11. Dynamic self-starter with a passion for working with youth and their families.
    12. Experience with multi-cultural programming preferred.
    13. Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills.
    14. Ability to pass a criminal record and child abuse/neglect registry check.
