Comfort Keepers® is expanding coverage for a client with advanced mobility needs and is seeking skilled caregivers for both afternoon and overnight support.

📍 Mehoopany — Overnight ALS Support

Position Type: Part-time to full-time potential Schedule: Overnight coverage Transportation: Required

This overnight role supports a client who depends on careful, attentive assistance throughout the night. Success here requires patience, strong technique, and a very gentle care approach.

Client has expressed a preference for a female caregiver for personal care comfort.

✨ Overnight care includes:

• Full personal care • Assistance with feeding • Incontinence care • Medication reminders • Sit-to-stand transfers • Overnight safety monitoring • Light housekeeping • Communication support via device

📍 Mehoopany — Afternoon ALS Support

The afternoon role focuses on maintaining comfort, routine, and safe mobility during daytime hours. The ideal caregiver is calm, observant, and confident with hands-on support.

Client has expressed a preference for a female caregiver for personal care comfort.

✨ Afternoon care includes:

• Personal care assistance • Feeding support • Incontinence care • Medication reminders • Sit-to-stand transfers • Light housekeeping • Companion presence • Device-based communication support

🕒 Approximately 48 hours available

⚠️ Care Environment Notes

• ALS experience strongly preferred • Client cannot use hands or arms • Client is sensitive to touch • DME (sit-to-stand) used in home • Pet-friendly home • Non-smoking environment • High attention to gentle care required

• Prior ALS or complex mobility experience • Extremely gentle, patient care style • Confidence with sit-to-stand equipment • Strong reliability for long shifts • Excellent attention to detail • Calm and respectful communication • Availability for afternoon and/or overnight coverage

✅ Requirements (Must Have)

• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license • Proof of auto insurance • Reliable vehicle • Must currently reside in Pennsylvania • 18 years or older • Able to pass background screening • Physically able to assist with transfers • Comfortable working overnight if applying for that shift
