This position is a part of the Drug Product Development team of Janssen Bio Therapeutic Development. The role looks to support the process development of new products with responsibilities at the scientist level that include:

• Develop fundamental understanding of large molecule parenteral process unit operations on physical/chemical/biological product quality attributes
• Evaluates critical to scale parameters and equipment parameters that can affect performance at larger scale;
• Develops and uses lab based “scale-down” models and studies to evaluate process parameters and ranges in order to build knowledge of “scale up” of unit operations
• Works with supply chain organizations to conduct in depth reviews of process performance data to establish/refine and drive process improvements.
• Leading efforts and understanding for primary packaging selection development for syringes, cartridges and product delivery devices.

QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD or Masters with 5 years experience
• Background in primary container systems
