Marketing and Communications Intern The Marketing Communications Intern will assist with a variety of activities, including event planning and promotion of the regions largest womens health event Girls Night Out, social media postings and blogs, articles for employee newsletters, community magazines, press releases, advertising and public relations. This position is ideal for a college student or recent graduate interested in learning valuable skills in event planning, communications, marketing, public relations, social media, graphic design and advertising. 1. Assists with staffing community events and helps plan the regions largest womens health event Girls Night Out. 2. Assists with social media postings, marketing and communications projects. Learns how to develop an editorial calendar and writes content for multiple publications such as weekly and monthly e-newsletters, internal communications materials, hospital printed publications, service-line brochures and more. Also learns about and assists with media relations and public information duties as needed. Requires: Two years of college or university credits. Previous even planning experience Prefer: Student or recent graduate working towards their Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, Journalism or Public Relations.
