    Part Time CIED Triage Reporting Technician - Clinical Wilmington, DE, USA Part Time BASIC PURPOSE/SCOPE Participates in clinical reporting, training, customer relationships, and quality controls. The position includes summarization of Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) data along with reporting the meaning in a preliminary format for physician review. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates thorough understanding of workflow, policy and procedure, for all aspects of Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management (CRDM) management. The responsibility includes maintaining department operations, including, but not limited to: Collaborative agreement between department and customer for department's clinical service; Notification protocols developed between department and customer for clinical data management; and All clinical processes from patient enrollment through event reporting and clinical care delivery. Participate in managing CIED data in a 24/7/365 department, and work as directed with all personnel employed within the CIED department. Review CRM web portal data, and determine if urgent, emergent or routine processing is needed. Ability to perform department operational duties from basic through reporting level responsibilities. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of CRDM data management tools and their functionality (e.g. OneView CRM, Merlin, CareLink, etc.). Provide 24/7 surveillance of all client account web portals for transmittal information. Communicate appropriate clinical information to customers or patients. Troubleshoot customer inquiries. Enter and analyze basic information to identify incidents that correspond to heart pattern irregularities detected on heart monitor or 'Alerts' or other attention requiring information. Initiate and develop preliminary reports along with supporting information presented for provider interpretation. Perform other duties as assigned. DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: Associates' degree in healthcare related field or biomedical technology, or at least 2 years of job related experience. CIED Reporting-Triaging Technician must be a Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT), or obtain the certification within 6 months of assuming the position. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of Cardiac Rhythm Device technologies. Excellent problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid attention to detail. The ability to think logically and critically. A helpful and positive attitude. Ability to learn quickly and work well with others. PHYSICAL DEMANDS CIED Triage Reporting Technician will be walking, standing, twisting, bending, squatting, climbing, and kneeling intermittently, and sitting continuously daily. They will be required to reach or work below shoulder level. CIED Triage Reporting Technician must be able to lift and move up to 5 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT Remote CIED Triage Reporting Technician works primarily indoors in an office environment where temperatures fluctuate, and the noise level is typically moderate. PERFORMANCE METRICS CIED Triage Reporting Technician is expected to generate a minimum of 10 reports an hour while reporting.
