Epic Provider Training Specialist – Posting #21090
POSITION SUMMARY:
Full time salaried position available to provide Epic application support and training to Sea Mar’s Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health care teams in Thurston, Grays Harbor, Clark, and Cowlitz Counties. The person hired in this position can choose which county he or she will be working out of. Must be comfortable with daily travel and have the ability to work out of different clinic environments daily.
The Epic Provider Training Specialist is responsible for end user interaction, onsite support and workflow analysis for all aspects of training associated with the ambulatory EHR and related IT systems. Trains new clinicians, existing staff and clinicians on updated medical processes and provides continual retraining to ensure compliance with workflows and regulatory requirements.
The Epic Provider Training Specialist has a thorough understanding of the medical workflows as it relates to use of the EHR, user’s environment, and helps enable the user to fully maximize administrative, ancillary, and related clinical and financial systems capabilities to meet the institutional goals of quality patient care, cost containment and operational efficiency.
