Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour

Are you compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping others? Visiting Angels is seeking caring and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care to seniors and adults who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.

As a caregiver, you'll make a meaningful difference every day by providing companionship, personal care, and support that enhances our clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene

Help clients with medication reminders as directed

Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation

Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and walks

Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed

Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization

Grocery shop or accompany clients while shopping

Provide companionship and emotional support

Assist with approved physical therapy or exercise routines

Observe and report changes in a client's condition or any unusual incidents

Respond appropriately in emergency situations

Desired Experience:

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred

Experience caring for seniors or adults with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, stroke recovery, or mobility limitations

Experience providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfers

Experience using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, or other mobility equipment is a plus

Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, or hospitals preferred

Experience working overnight, weekend, or live-in shifts is a plus

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance preferred for clients requiring transportation

Qualifications:

Previous caregiving experience preferred

CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Knowledge of personal care, nutrition, and home safety

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, dependable, and patient

Strong time management and organizational skills

Professional appearance and ethical work standards

Ability to perform the physical demands of caregiving

High school diploma or GED preferred
