Residency Intern Scheduler Seattle Childrens 181 reviews - Seattle, WA Internship Overview This position is accountable for creating the annual intern block schedule for each of the pediatric residency program's many interns. The scheduler must also develop, produce, and maintain 13 call rotations and elective schedules for each intern. Position must maintain a thorough working knowledge of various resident schedules and the unique aspects of each to ensure that RRC and ACGME guidelines, UW School of Medicine requirements, and SCH service needs are met. Works with the non-UW pediatric residency programs that rotate through SCH to coordinate the inclusion of their residents into the block and call schedules and works with various community clinic sites to ensure that all of the residents receive the requisite amount of community-based practice training pursuant to mandated guidelines. Accountable for creating and maintaining the databases that house the extensive data that must be tracked for the program and each resident. Requirements Required Education/Experience: * High school graduate or equivalent. * Minimum three (3) years experience using computer systems in daily work.
