    Johnson & Johnson is seeking an outstanding Senior Finance Analyst – Strategy & Transformation to join its Strategy and Transformation Finance team based in Raritan, NJ. As a Senior Analyst on the team, you will lead the tracking and forecasting of key financial metrics related to transformation initiatives, playing a critical role in the delivery of success through data-based insights and visualization.

    The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with global, cross-functional teams to unlock value through the tracking of value generation against business cases. Main business partners include members of the Transformation Operating Committee (TOC), and Regional, Platform, and Network Finance and non-Finance partners. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact and visibility project, so a strategic business mindset coupled with financial acumen is critical for success in the role.

    This role is unique within the Surgery finance team in that it leverages an assumed proficiency in finance fundamentals to enable other parts of its scope: supporting the building and maintaining of financial models and collaborating with business partners to gather quantitative and qualitative insights into progress against the business cases.     To deliver on these objectives, you will work out of the Raritan (NJ) office, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.

    What you’ll do:

    • Support the development of the value tracking and initiative analytics related to transformation across all Surgery Platforms. Scope would include both portfolio and network actions to understand full business value case.
    • Track, forecast and manage key operating metrics (e.g. NTS, GP, OPEX) related to portfolio transformation and network optimization. Leverage key systems to develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive valuable insights to business partners and finance leadership
    • Partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders in Portfolio, Global Strategic Marketing and Supply Chain to gain end-to-end understanding of decisions on business performance.
    • Partner with FP&A Manager & Sr. Finance Analyst in analyzing and consolidating an end-to-end financial model for NTS and margin improvements including Commercial metrics, stranded costs, Supply Chain metrics, and other cost efficiencies
    • Partner with FP&A Manager & Sr. Finance Analyst in the management of the portfolio workstream transformation budget including accurate reporting of accounting items.
    • Partner with regional finance teams and non-finance business partners to understand potential impacts of portfolio transformation efforts across all platforms.
    • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytics

    We are looking for:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; preferably with a major in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or Accounting
    • A minimum 3 three years finance or related business experience is required
    • A highly motivated individual with strong forward thinking analytical skills, creating problem-solving track-record and intellectual curiosity is required
    • Proactively recommend and implement process improvements, identifying potential efficiencies and leveraging technology to deliver them is required.
    • Must be comfortable to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic and ambiguous environment. Time management and prioritization are required.
    • Strong communications, framing presentation skills; along with solid interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills are required.
    • Demonstrated experience in ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization is required, both within and outside of finance.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, XLOOKUP functions).
    • Experience in building data visualization dashboards (e.g. in Tableau, PowerBI) is preferred.
    • This role will be located in Raritan, NJ and may require up to 10% travel

    The base pay range for this position is $77,000- $124,200

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
