Deliver strives to deliver an exceptional customer experience through leading critical customer-facing-functions such as customer service, distribution and transportation. In addition, Deliver oversees critical business enablers, including how we gather and manage supply chain master data, safe and secure supply chain practices, product identification standards, and market/channel access capabilities. It supports all three sectors of Johnson & Johnson: Medical Devices (including Vision), Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Products. This role within the Regional Deliver Operations team (RDO – Distribution) will be directly responsible for ensuring the timely turn-around of inbounds when issues arise and partnering with Supply Chain Planning and MAKE personnel to identify and remove obstacles. This individual will partner cross-functionally to ensure timely and efficient flow of materials into the Distribution Centers (DC’s) by performing inventory transactions in SAP. This role will drive improvements to the inbound Perfect Receipt metric and will support outbound process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Base Business - Resolve ASN holds, ASN iDOC or CMT errors in SAP. Act as single point of contact between Supply Chain & Distribution Centers for assigned vendors for resolving issues when needed; collaborate with vendors, contractors, planners, IT, DC’s, finance, and/or trade customization. Support outbound process as needed, including forecasting, delivery due list management, closure calendar management, etc. Participate in daily Control Tower forum.
Project/Process - Lead and when appropriate, participate in projects associated with improving the shipping and receiving processes from our vendors to our DC’s. Understand the shipping and inbound process as SAP SME to identify process and cost improvements and, when approved, manage the overall project. Identify process improvements and lead the projects to implement these improvements. Manage SAP inbound scenario testing for projects.
Supervision – Supervise departmental co-op. Fulfill all essential duties of a supervisor to include 1:1’s, coaching, feedback, challenging assignments and a meaningful co-op experience.
Frequent interaction with 3PL/J&J distribution community, franchise supply chain partners, both internal and external manufacturing as well as QA and IT.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
A minimum of a BA/BS degree required
A minimum of 4 years of related experience required
Proficiency with Microsoft office, specifically excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical background
Being driven by innovation, process improvements and working in a team environment, while demonstrating leadership
Ability to manage timelines and complexity
Collaboration and interdependent partnering skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Preferred:
Direct supply chain experience or support of supply chain functions
Operations knowledge of sap order-to-cash tools (ECC, APO, BW) and warehouse management systems
