    Key Responsibilities

    • Leads and completes various projects and/or programs of moderate to high level of complexity ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, company standards, operation requirements and business needs.
    • Financial management and scheduling. Prepare project estimates for design, equipment, installation, labor, materials, and other related costs. Prepare project forecast, schedules, and tracks costs.
    • Revise and maintain engineering, equipment, and process procedure documentation.
    • Provides technical support to peers in evaluating process deficiencies, process changes, modifications, and equipment failure. Defines, analyzes, reviews, and evaluates problems for prompt solutions.
    • Supports shop in day-to-day troubleshooting to ensure optimized utilization of team capabilities and resources.
    • Drives lean initiatives to improve overall shop efficiency.
    • Review and approve, manufacturing, quality, engineering, and validation / qualification documents to ensure conformance to business practices and departmental procedures.
    • Support the development of product requirements, verification strategies, and validation strategies as needed.
    • Proactively collaborate with multi-functional teams. Work closely with partners to ensure designs meet specifications and manufacturing requirements.
    • Actively participate in process improvement and design feedback meetings.
    • Provides support for internal department audits and resulting observations/objects.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with internal and external partners.
    • A minimum of 4 years of manufacturing, quality, or research and development experience in a medical device or other regulated industry.
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or equivalent scientific field.
    • The ability to excel in a team-based manufacturing environment
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Excellent attention to detail and high standards for quality.

    Preferred

    • Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience with an understanding of ASME Y14.5.
    • Working knowledge of Siemens NX.
    • New product development experience.
    • Machine shop experience, specifically CNC.
    • Experience with validation cycles (i.e. FAT, IQOQPQ, CSVE).

    • Ability to travel up to 10% domestic and international.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

    77,000- 124,200
