We are searching for the best talent for Sr. Project Manager, Strategy. This is a hybrid position based in Danvers, MA.
The Strategic Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple cross-functional Supply Chain projects as J&J Heart Recovery grows our footprint and long-term capacity. The Strategic Project Manager will have regular interactions with Operations leadership from every function and responsible for helping to be the strategic link between all.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide project management for a new arm of the Supply Chain team: Strategy
Support cross-functional efforts within (and sometimes outside of Supply Chain) to create a linkage in our broader strategy and push forward Abiomed’s vision of scaling the business to match growth
Support the development, deployment, and implementation of the Global Operations Strategic Road Map that is aligned with Abiomed’s growth plans
Support efforts in the realm of Master Facility Planning, Scale Roadmap, Outsourcing Strategy, Network & Distribution Strategy, Data & Analytics, and Governance
Manage global projects that span across multiple locations
Prepare a weekly tracker and report for updates to the management team of all projects
Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of projects
Prepare PowerPoint presentations as needed to assist leadership
Provide support on special projects, as well as provide assistance to all departmental colleagues
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
6-8 years of prior project management experience with a proven history of showcasing the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Engineering experience at a Medical Device company preferred
Able to work independently and handle a wide variety of situations, including conflict resolution and troubleshooting issues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) is preferred
Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational, prioritization, time-management skills and attention to detail required
Ability to help shape, be flexible, be agile, and solution oriented
Must have strong initiative, self-motivation, high standards, and a strong work ethic
Demonstrate a professional, positive, and approachable demeanor in working and effectively communicating with a diverse group of people
Must have the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and advocate for many teams and their requirements while pushing an overall goal and target
Exercise discretion, judgment, tact and poise in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
This role has the flexibility to be hybrid with the requirement to travel to our US and EU facilities ~25% of the time

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401k).This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program. Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year. Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year. Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year. Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.
