    We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Scientist, High-Throughput In-Process Testing Biotherapeutics Development to be located in Malvern, PA.

    Purpose: The Senior Scientist, High-Throughput In-Process Testing Biotherapeutics Development will be a technical expert supporting the high-throughput Non-GxP Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) and titer testing of early and late development programs. This position requires strong organizational, communication and project management skills.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Supporting the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) Protein Therapeutics organization for Non-GxP in-process and characterization testing of early and late development.

    • Providing routine testing support and technical expertise to ensure that testing of materials is completed in a rapid manner.

    • Understanding the needs of customers and can manage requests diligently.

    • Troubleshooting methods, instrumentation problems as required and providing primary technical guidance to customers.

    • Identifying and implementing process flow improvements.

    • Monitoring equipment performance and usage.

    • Generating metrics to track productivity and supported programs.

    • Supporting capital projects, equipment utilization and resource management to increase testing capacity and higher throughput.

    • Performing periodic review of SOPs and equipment/lab coordination support.

    • Working in a team environment as well as contributing individually to meet testing timeline and objectives.

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    Education:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Analytical or Biological Sciences is required. An advanced degree is preferred.

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:

    • 4+ years of experience with analytical testing of Early and Late Process Developments with significant experience in analytical techniques is required.

    • Strong scientific background and hands-on laboratory experience in analytical tests and instrumentations, specifically SEC, proA/proG titer, and Agilent HPLC.

    • Knowledge of Early and Late Drug Development Process is required.

    • Adaptability to a fast-paced, high-throughput environment is required.

    • Proficiency at developing, optimizing and trouble-shooting assays is required.

    • Ability to tackle problems of a scientifically challenging nature is required.

    • Ability to use remote solutions to complete testing is required.

    • Experience with systems (Empower, SharePoint, electronic notebook, electronic document control application) is required.

    • Experience with Microsoft Office software is required.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

    • Experience maintaining team-based collaborations is required.

    Preferred:

    • Ability to be an active driver of innovation; think outside of the box and challenge others to do the same using a risk-based approach is preferred.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills are preferred.
