    GENERAL SUMMARY 

    The focus of the Recruiter position is to provide support to the recruiting team.  The Recruiter will identify, study, and deploy recruitment strategies in order to develop a pipeline of potential candidates for multiple business lines. Conduct thorough interviews of candidates that include extensive review of work history and interests, compensations earned, as well as behavioral interviewing tactics in order to make best match.  

    The Recruiter consistently demonstrates support of the SRAlab statement of Mission and Philosophy by striving for excellence, contributing to the team efforts and showing respect and compassion for patients and their families, fellow employees, and all others with whom there is contact at or in the interest of the institute.

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Source, screen, interview and facilitate hiring of qualified healthcare professionals with a focus on allied health recruitment to include various categories of professionals in core and flexible staff positions throughout specified geography within the continuum of care.
    2. Assess candidate fit by conducting thorough screening utilizing tools and techniques developed/approved by recruiting management.
    3. Maintain key contacts and positive-productive relationships with recruiting sources.
    4. Establish, cultivate, and maintain ongoing relationships with potential candidates in order to grow pool of referrals- maintaining and updating records of prospects on an-ongoing basis. 
    5. From recruitment strategy of Sr. Recruiter or Director of Talent Acquisition, implement creative sourcing strategies through on-line web resources, direct sourcing of resumes through efforts such as resume string searches through on-line engines such as Google, and direct mail campaigns to identify candidates for all business lines to include Allied Health and Administrative positions.
    6. Support Recruiting team by identifying potential target recruitment activities such as job fairs, schools, internet, advertising, referral programs, professional organizations, diversity organizations, networking, cold calling, and other relationship-building forums. 
    7. Promote SRAlab at a variety of recruitment functions such as job fairs, university and college career days, and career events targeted for special populations. Cultivate applicant attendee relationships, identifying possible talent to attract to SRAlab job opportunities. Coordinate interviews from attendee lists.
    8. Continue to cultivate direct sourcing techniques through training from Sr. Recruiters, Human Resources Management, and /or various attendance at seminars and on-line courses. 
    9. Contribute progress towards effective recruiting measures such as time-to-fill, cost per hire, and relevant yield ratios.  Support recruiting tracking data and reporting.
    10. Perform job responsibilities in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, utilizing realistic goals and superior standards of performance.
    11. Proactively develop cooperative relationships among diverse, multifunctional units throughout the organization.
    12. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

      

    REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

    1.  Reports directly to Director, Talent Acquisition

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

    1. Education level appropriate with what is normally gained through the acquisition of a bachelor’s degree.
    2. Demonstrated appropriate customer service attitudes and services in a variety of work settings.
    3. Business acumen/competence: sufficient understanding of education and/or health care field(s) and specific departmental environments to elicit credibility with all levels of management and faculty.
    4. Demonstrated recruitment experience in handling challenging recruitment issues in a diverse and dynamic environment.
    5. Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment functions at an entry-level to include effective sourcing strategies, behavioral interview techniques.
    6. Teamwork/Collaboration: demonstrated skills and abilities in collaborative efforts with experience in team/project oriented activities. Flexibility: demonstrated the ability to adapt to a variety of human resource issues with successful outcomes and demonstrate openness to new ideas and approaches.
    7. Strong understanding and appreciation of a diverse work environment and have demonstrated initiatives for recruiting for diversity.
    8. Interpersonal & Communication Skills: ability to relate well to people and work in cooperation with others to effectively coordinate activities in order to accomplish tasks. Excellent capability to learn and retain, and deploy effective recruitment efforts. Excellent ability to communicate effectively through writing and oral presentations.
    9. PC/Technology Skills: basic proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and presentation software.
    10. Judgment: demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results.
    11. Demonstrated a results orientation for delivering appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete and timely fashion.

     

     WORKING CONDITIONS

    1. Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
    2. Position includes travel and attendance of offsite recruitment events.
