GENERAL SUMMARY

In alignment with SRAlab's Vision, and the strategic goals of SRAlab's Advancement Office, the Manager of Donor Relations is responsible for the organization of the Advancement Office process for recognizing and retaining donors, and assisting in the cultivation of new donor prospects.

The Manager of Donor Relations will consistently demonstrate support of the SRAlab statement of Vision, Mission and Core Values by striving for excellence, contributing to the team efforts and showing respect and compassion for patients and their families, fellow employees, and all others with whom there is contact at or in the interest of the institute.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

THE MANAGER OF DONOR RELATIONS WILL:

Manage a comprehensive stewardship and recognition program that is effectively integrated with all Advancement Office goals including Annual Giving and Capital Campaign.

• Develop and implement an efficient and effective system to inform and engage, ensuring donors at each level are effectively recognized, thanked and connected to SRAlab's mission.
• In collaboration with Advancement team and SRAlab Leadership, develop the donor recognition policy and implement it.
• Create and manage Advancement Office stewardship calendar and related processes; collaborate with Advancement staff to ensure the quality and timeliness of stewardship materials including endowment, annual and special reports, and other materials as requested.
• Manage appropriate recognition of donors, gifts and/or grants in SRAlab publications or other printed materials and communications including online.
• Coordinate tracking system for Campaign recognition and naming opportunities in new hospital i.e. donor walls, plaques, etc.; help manage stewardship of recognized donors in new hospital with tours and other special events.
• Provide support for solicitation and reporting processes in collaboration with Advancement Leadership and Director, Individual Giving including social media outreach and online campaigns.
• Collaborate with the Marketing department and Advancement staff to oversee the development of materials specific to fundraising goals and campaigns, such as newsletters and other donor-centric communications.

Provide support for Corporate & Foundation Relations reporting and stewardship processes.

Oversee the donor gift acknowledgement process;

• Ensure the quality, personalization and timeliness of acknowledgement letters.
• Create ‘special’ acknowledgement letters and regular updates of letter templates assuring timely messages according to institutional priorities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

1. Reports directly to the Executive Director, Advancement

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
2. A minimum of three years of related experience, with healthcare fundraising background preferred.
3. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects and assignments effectively and efficiently.
4. Working proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite; Raiser’s Edge database experience preferred.
