    General Summary

    The Director, Market Development will lead strategic planning, market engagement strategies, staff development and evaluation of market initiatives to assure SRAlab market position  and achieve  SRAlab System of Care target volumes.  Identifies and captures new patient growth channels.  Engages and develops mutually valued referral relationships with key strategic business sources and potential referral partners.

    Principal Responsibilities

    1. Primary responsibility is meeting patient growth targets for all service lines ( IP, OP, DR, Physician Practice).  Delivers impact by key referral and patient volume metrics;
    2. Identifies market opportunities for SRAlab and leads the engagement and implementation to capture these opportunities,  uses data to develop a more standardized approach to market capture based on data;
    3. Lead the physician engagement strategy in the Chicagoland market to grow SRAlab System of Care volume;
    4. Develops and manages a process to harvest and leverage SRAlab physician referral contacts;
    5. In collaboration with SRAlab Research teams, leads a process to continuously mine and catalog the SRAlab Research enterprise for market-relevant projects that can be translated to target audiences (physicians, case managers, hospital discharge planners, consumers);
    6. Lead development of tools to deliver key “Why SRAlab”  (research) messages and train the SRAlab sales team (AAC, physicians, clinical managers) on tactics and use of tools;
    7. Develops and manages budgets as relates to development of engagement and referral marketing tools, presentations, exhibits, etc.
    8. Leads processes to objectively measure outcomes and results achieved from market growth initiatives.

     

    Reporting Relationships

    1. Reports directly to the Vice President, Market Development

     

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

    1. Currently registered to practice PT, OT, SLP or Nursing in the state of Illinois.
    2. Ten years of previous professional management experience including both fiscal responsibility and quality of care responsibility.
    3. Demonstrated abilities in sales and/or referral relationship development.
    4. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills; previous process improvement experience preferred.
    5. Requires a forward-thinking, proactive and results-oriented leader.
    6. Interpersonal skills needed to effectively provide leadership with all levels of staff.
    7. Analytical skills needed to assess existing processes, promote innovation activities, and develop new initiatives.
    8. Computer skills required in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
