Clinical Nurse Educator - Nursing Education, Full time
The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for designing education programs and instructional materials relevant to professional clinical practice area of expertise. Coordinates courses and programs to meet the needs of the clinical interdisciplinary rehabilitation staff (including nurses, physicians, and therapists). Collaborates with management of clinical programs to meet staff development needs and provide relevant educational programs. Promotes professional growth and development through mentoring/training.
In conjunction with the Director, Nursing Education coordinates and implements activities to ensure Magnet Recognition Program are met at wholly owned SRAlab sites. Ensures SRAlab continuing education programs meet ANCC Commission on Continuing Education standards and maintains SRAlab status as an approved provider of nursing continuing education. Ensures CPR training meets standards set by the American Heart Association.
