Physical Therapy Assistant Job Description Shriners Hospitals for Children ® - Greenville is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant for our Rehabilitation Services department. The Physical Therapy Assistant provides therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Provides comprehensive compliant and safe clinical care demonstrating the philosophy of family centered care, a commitment to the achievement of optimal patient outcomes in alignment with the standards of practice of their professional organization. Effectively works with the Physical Therapists, in conjunction with the intra-disciplinary team, to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the pediatric patients and their family.
