    Job Description

    The Regional Sales Specialist is responsible for assisting in the overall development, execution, and leadership of the sales strategy for Asbury Communities. Occupancy and revenue growth throughout Asbury Communities are the areas of focus for this role. You will also be a part of the corporate sales team that oversee planning and implementing sales strategy and training throughout our system. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Regional Sales and supports our community teams by providing direct sales support and training. This role will act in an interim direct sales capacity during any vacancies throughout the organization or if there is a community that needs more support to reach occupancy/revenue goals.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • They may partner with Directors of Sales, Sales Counselors or independently develop effective quarterly sales strategy/campaigns.

    • Works closely with Executive Directors, Clinical Teams and Corporate Sales Team to ensure that the sales team is working congruently across functions and meeting KPI’s through consistent occupancy growth.

    • Works with Corporate Sales/Brand Team to ensure execution of marketing/sales plans in assigned community.

    • Manages all move-ins/outs to achieve maximum revenue performance for the community. Assists in maintaining an active, meaningful wait list.

    • Assists in lead generating activities such as outreach/business development to ensure qualified leads are produced that convert to move ins to meet performance expectations. Manages and maintains a working knowledge of our CRM system (Welcome Home).

    • Ensures Asbury Sales Philosophy and Culture is being utilized throughout the system.

    • Assists with the coaching to success of all Sales associates as needed.

    • Maintains and communicates current product information to staff (pricing, program changes, policy changes and promotional programs), in the absence of a Director of Sales and Marketing.

    • In consultation with the Director of Sales, Vice President of Regional Sales, and support office personnel, the Regional Sales Specialist assists with hiring, training, and evaluating Sales Counselors at the communities.

    • Continually evaluates pricing strategies and provides recommendations.

    • Keeps informed of all trends, developments, concepts, and techniques in our sector that might impact our occupancy/revenue goals.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales/marketing preferred, or equivalent sales experience.

    • 5+ years of successful sales experience in senior living with proven track record

    • Possesses strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to review data and develop strategies that support effective sales processes.

    • Must be able to travel frequently throughout the region (MD, PA, DE) with overnight stays required.

    • Must live in central PA or MD, or be willing to relocate.

    • Experience using Welcome Home software preferred.
