  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    A Simulation Lab Teaching Assistant (SIM TA) supports residents, medical students, and instructors during simulation lab activities and may perform administrative tasks. A SIM TA records simulation exercises and makes AV files available to students and faculty, manages the day-to-day operations of simulators, software, and computer applications, prepares labs and simulations and repackage supplies, cleans and disinfects equipment, and participates in simulations as directed by the Simulation Lab Director.

    Qualifications

    • EMT or Medical School Graduate.
    • Basic Life Support – Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) Certification.
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
