North American Roofing is a commercial roofing contractor in the United States. We are searching for a Lead Roofing Service Repair Technician (Commercial Roofing) located within the Atlanta, GA metro area.
The average pay rate for this position is $22-$25 / Hr.
Purpose of the Job:
Investigate and repair a variety of low-slope roof types.
Job Duties:
- Ability to find and repair all types of low-slope commercial roofs
- Perform Service repairs as needed
- Perform small contract jobs
- Performing inspections with minor preventative maintenance repairs
- Communicating with the customers on repairs or inspection status’ and assisting in resolving various issues
- Assisting in all snow and hurricane events to either participate in repairs or supervision
- Responsible for learning and operating service software (FCS)
- Ability to provide accurate information into service software (FCS)
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of commercial roofing experience as an installer or service technician
- Experience as a roofing foreman recommended
- Ability to obtain OSHA, Man-lift, and Forklift certifications will be required
- Must be able to climb a ladder; position may require lifting up to 80 lbs
- Must be able to work outside in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow)
- Ability to operate tablet and smartphone
- Weekend and/or overnight travel may be required
- A good driving record is essential for this position
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
