Dr G, with over 15+ years in Modesto, CA as a Physician, has been quite successful in treating the most complicated diabetes, obesity and chronic conditions through a combination of education, diet and lifestyle changes and supervised medication.

We are looking for passionate and articulate writers to manage the clinic’s social media channels by posting related health topics, tips, lifestyle choices that impact your overall health and diabetes management and news specific to the medical practice. (social events, patient testimonials etc.)

Your tasks are as follows:

• For the provided topics, identify and monitor trusted sites and news sources.
• Pick articles, blog posts or tweets that are important and post it on our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Topics include general health, diabetes Type 1, Type 2 Management, Treatment, Blood sugar control, Obesity etc.
• You are expected to post 2-4 posts every day
• For Instagram, we intend to collect and share healthy diets, recipes and foods that follow the recommendations of the Physician.
• Build up audience/followers on the social media channels by posting and responding on the above health-related topics
• Work with the clinic management in coordinating and posting updates related to the clinic — upcoming events we are participating in, special promotions, client testimonials, success stories, new partners, awards, local interviews, participation in health fairs etc.
• Establish yourself with an authentic voice that reflects the philosophy and the values of the Physician / clinic
• Once established, The Physician intends to provide an outline of weekly posts on health topics. You will create 200-300 word posts that will be posted on the channels, once a week.

• Current presence on social media, any experience managing social media channels and blogging experience is strongly desirable to get up and running
• Interested, Enthusiastic and expressive about health related topics
• Celebrity gossip and barely legal, objectionable content is discouraged
