• Compile information on client coinsurance and deductibles and then gives clients verbal notice of such information. * Prepare billings to patients and other pay sources * Research and respond by telephone and/or writing to patient inquiries regarding billing issues and problems * Monitor aging of accounts receivable and initiates programs to facilitate collection of invoices. * Follow up on submitted claims and re-submits claims as necessary. * Research and investigate outstanding claims and monitor the accounts * Monitor and control non-payments and delayed payments. * Thoroughly research, investigate, and work each claim denial * Assist in preparing documentation and responses for legal inquiries, litigation, and court appearances. * Balance deposit log, reconcile patient payments * Post payments to Zirmed When youll be working: 40 hrs/wk, Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm What you need to have: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * High school diploma preferred; college or technical school preferred * Background in medical terminology preferred. * Two years of billing experience. (prior-authorizations, ensuring proper claim submission, claims appeals/reconsiderations, to payment posting) * Demonstrated proficiency in MS office programs and windows based operating system and strong data entry skills. * 10-key and strong data entry skills.
