    Monday through Friday between hours of 8am-5pm.  Will be required to travel to all practice locations (Greenwich, Riverside, Stamford, Darien, Norwalk, New Canaan, and Wilton).  This position does not have any direct reports however will be managing processes and working closely with all levels of employees throughout the organization.

    The Clinical Services manager (CSM) supervises all aspects of clinical operations at the practice level and works collaboratively with the Director Clinical Services (DCS) on all clinical initiatives. In addition, this individual will serve as a departmental resource for departmental policy development and assist in interpreting clinical regulations. The CSM will promote and oversee the implementation of all SHMG clinical policies, regulations, goals and initiatives.  The CSM will teach/lead new hire orientation and trainings for clinical personnel at the Medical Group.

    MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • In collaboration with the (DCS) identifies annual competencies through interaction of the clinical staff and facilitates the completion of the competencies.
    • Coordinates and Instructs Clinical Skills day in collaboration with SH Nursing Professional Development.
    • Coordinates and Instructs orientation/training for new clinical hires.
    • Identifies required clinical competencies through interaction with the clinical staff and facilitates the completion of competencies in collaboration with the Clinical Services Director (CSD).
    • Interacts with physicians, office management and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow.
    • In collaboration with the Practice Manager, demonstrates knowledge of the overall needs of the office.
    • Participates in Process Improvement (PI) and Patient Satisfaction teams.
    • Monitors adherence to all SHMG staff adheres to internal and external regulatory requirements.
    • Under the direction of and in collaboration with the DCS, educates staff on the Regulatory and Professional Standards of Clinical Practice.
    • In collaboration with the DCS, participates in patient care initiatives.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to Clinical Excellence and SHMG Service Standards.
    • Develops strong interpersonal relationships with peers, SHMG employees, Physicians and all partners throughout the system.

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Current RN license, State of CT
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required with a master’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
    • A minimum of three years experience in leadership or professional development role
    • A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience
    • Ability to compile objective and measurable data and produce written reports is required
    • Ability to develop and communicate written policies and procedure is required
    • High level of competency with computers and computer software such as MS Office, Excel
    • Excellent organizational, Communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills are required
