Position Summary Therapeutic Mentor (Family Service Providers) assist Master's level clinicians in implementing the therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan to address the youth's mental health, behavioral and emotional needs. This position serves customers throughout the Attleboro area. Education & Licensing Requirements of a Therapeutic Mentor/Family Service Provider * Bachelors in a human service field from an accredited university and at least 1 year of experience working with target population (age 21 and under), or an Associates degree, High School diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience working with target population * Valid driver's license and a car required Duties & Responsibilities of a Therapeutic Mentor/Family Service Provider * Implement necessary treatment plans while providing therapeutic mentoring and therapeutic training and support to youths and family members. * Establish and maintain close relationships with clinical team members and clients and utilize a team approach to treatment and to develop creative interventions that will improve the outcomes for their clients. * Teach individuals coping strategies to manage stress and challenges, and improve ineffective patterns of interactions between youth and family * Strengthen families by enhancing problem solving, limit- setting, safety planning, communication, and skill building.
