What to Expect During the Summer in the Minnetonka office: Internships at Sovos will run for 10 weeks in summer 2019. During that time you will: * Gain valuable real-world experience and make a significant and lasting impact on our business * Learn more about Sovos products and experience working alongside Sovosians and immerse yourself into our company culture * Participate in weekly professional development sessions led by the Sovos Leadership team and HR team You Will Work On: * Learning our sales process through a rotational style internship program by joining our Alliances, Business Development, Direct Sales and Sales Enablement teams for 2-3 week stints * Reaching out to contacts via email, cold calling, strategic prospecting and LinkedIn, from our data base of current and prospective clients to update information on their business * Assisting our marketing team with industry research regarding best practices, changing trends, pain points, and any other new or emerging information * Interns will be trained to understand the business on a high level, and will gain enough of an understanding to confidently speak to clients about the industry and our market positioning What We Need From You: * Currently attending a College or University majoring in Business or a related field * Have an interest in pursuing a sales career * Personal drive to make things happen * Ability to bring creativity & innovation to their work * Have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills * Collaborate well with diverse groups of people & passion to help others Rising Stars Scholarship: Our Rising Stars are encouraged to apply for a Rising Stars Scholarship, $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000.
