The Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center's Radiology Department has an immediate opening for a full or part time Registered Radiologic Technologist/Medical Sonographer to perform sonography in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and in accordance with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.  

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technologist 
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
• Associate Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred

REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: 

• State licensure as required by law
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider

                         AND

• Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Vascular Technologist (RVT)

                          OR

• Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

                          OR

• Registered as a Technologist (RT) and certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

The successful candidate must be able to work independently, have good communication skills, and be proficient working with computers, as the department is fully digital.
