Job Duties: Manage component libraries within Altium Designer ConcordPro for the program process part request, handle part release, and part life cycle for hardware designs. Collect environmental compliance documents (Full Material Declaration, RoHS, REACH, Prop 65, WEEE, CE mark) and component specification sheets. Perform BOM Analysis, including component lifecycle checks, stock availability, alternate component selection, and compliance confirmation. Conduct regular Environmental Compliance audits and Obsolescence checks on BOMs based on the changes to regulation and/or design. Build and release components in the PLM system through the use of the change control process. Ensure the cross-functional team meets and manage applicable standards such as IPC, IEC, RoHS, REACH. Verify and validate components, specifications, standard descriptions, symbols, and footprints across databases. Adhere to standard procedures established in the team and maintain the quality of the Component Engineering processes. Support new product introduction by collaborating with internal business partners and suppliers to support qualification of components. Select and evaluate suppliers by supporting efforts to find new suppliers in an existing or new commodity, and work with Engineering to enhance use of the production supply base. Collaborate with manufacturing and supplier quality to address component issues identified during production. Standardize component selection and update process for existing and new products. Manage product stewardship deliverables for new and existing products, and support global commercialization of the product. Support PCB and component testing and design verification process.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Components Engineer Electrical-related occupation.
