Provides council to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices and develops new policies and practices to align with SAMC business objectives. Develops curricula and directs staff organizational development. Is an advocate for employees, management and the organization. Assesses and analyzes system-wide organizational development needs to determine goal setting for the implementation of successful organizational effectiveness programs. Utilizes and monitors Situational Leadership goals and strategies to address job performance and other behavioral issues. Acts an expert in supporting their respective unit by using a full understanding of the operation, jobs, and individuals working there. Must be able to speak about other business issues outside of HR, including finance, operations, clinical quality metrics, and process improvements. Bachelor's degree required in HR or related field with the major field of concentration in business, human resources or related field of study. Master's degree in area of Business Management, Human Resources Development or related field preferred. Must have at least 3-5 years of relevant HR experience as a generalist or manager Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or higher preferred. Must have PHR, SPHR or SHRM certifications or be willing to obtain within the first year in this position. Basic knowledge of legal implications of the employment relationship. Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact successfully at all levels, excellent mediation skills and ability to handle confidential material.
