POSITION OVERVIEW: Facilitates organizational improvement, including assessing training needs, diagnosing organizational problem areas, consulting on organizational development strategies, and conducting team building sessions. The Talent Development Consultant creates and manages solutions to enhance onboarding, competency assessments, leadership development, engagement and retention of talent. This includes a strong collaboration and consultation with Human Resources Business Partners and leaders for site specific needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: Analyzes organizational talent performance in relation to the strategic plan and organizational goals/objectives.nbsp; Develop, execute and measure the effectiveness of a portfolio of talent development programs. Conducts analysis with senior and mid-level leaders to raise the performance of departments, work groups and individuals. Provides expertise, strategies and tactics to ongoing initiatives of the organization.nbsp; Strategies and tactics may include leading retreats with management and facilitating focus groups and work groups. Build and maintain partnerships with management teams.nbsp; Acts as a consultant to leadership to assist and provide management coaching, leadership development, strategic planning, change management, employee engagement and development.nbsp; Explores best practices and keeps current on leadership and development trends in healthcare and general management issues.nbsp; Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing networks; participating in professional societies and continual learning.nbsp; Shares best practices with team members and leadership. Responsible for developing, delivering and managing effective strategies for onboarding, competency assessment, leadership development, change management, engagement and retention of talent. Encourage the development of lean leadership and continuous improvement cultural. Support the implementation of the Management System. Partner and consult with HR Business Partners, leadership and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and conduct organizational development interventions when needed. Develop curriculum, write content and create facilitator guides and training materials for courses, webinars and programs to grow capability of core competencies and leadership competencies across the system. Define the most effective learning mix (i.e. instructor-led, e-Learning, blended learning, and social learning) for programs, applying the 70/20/10 principles and good instructional design. Facilitate training and train-the-trainer sessions as required. Mentor and advises Talent Development Specialists and System Training Specialists as needed on effective instructional design and application of adult learning principles. Supports the vision, mission and values of the organization in all respects. Provides and maintains a safe environment for caregivers, patients and guests.
