• Memphis, TN 37544 Overview In anticipation of a new Patient Representative role, The Patient Representative will be the initial clinic contact with patients and families. They are responsible for managing patient and family encounters smoothly and efficiently to maintain business operations and assure excellent customer service. The Patient Representative will coordinate patient arrivals, reconcile appointments and reconcile encounter forms and charge information utilizing Milli Scheduling System and Medical Records. They will greet patients and visitors, manage a multi-line phone, route calls as appropriate and function as a support for patient scheduling. This position will electronically generate the daily patient schedule and requisitions, manage the Patient Tracking System and charge process. A high priority is placed upon customer service and maintaining accurate billing information for Clinic Patients. Responsibilities The Patient Representative will: * Be the "face" of the clinic as the first point of contact to assist patients and their families * Be responsible for managing patient and family encounters smoothly and efficiently * Ensure that the clinic day runs efficiently as part of a collaborative team * Coordinate patient arrivals and checkout * Reconcile appointments and encounter forms * Be able to multi-task in greeting patients and visitors, manage a multi-line phone, route calls as appropriate and function as a support for patient scheduling * Electronically generate the daily patient schedule and requisitions, manage the Patient Tracking System and charge process A high priority is placed upon customer service and maintaining accurate billing information for clinic patients. Minimum Experience * Four (4) years general office experience, with at least one-year electronic scheduling and billing experience is required with a high school diploma or equivalent * No experience is required with an Associate's degree * Customer experience required. Bilingual preferred Minimum Education * High School graduate or GED (General Education Development) * Computer and business coursework or training required * Associate's degree is preferred.
