    We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Process & Automation Engineer to lead complex engineering initiatives within our medical device manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in driving process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement across the plant, ensuring compliance with GMP/ISO standards and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, cost reduction, and new product/process introductions.
    • Develop and implement machine/process standards and operational control systems to enhance OEE and throughput.
    • Design and validate custom automated machinery and software systems (PLC, SCADA, databases).
    • Conduct engineering studies, design of experiments, and validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ).
    • Analyze production data using statistical methods to identify trends and drive improvements.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and corporate teams to ensure compliance and successful project execution.
    • Provide technical support for complex process issues and equipment failures.
    • Author and maintain SOPs, standard work documents, and engineering procedures.
    • Participate in GMP audits and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications:

    Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred. Advanced degree preferred.

    Required:

    • Minimum four (4) years of relevant professional work experience
    • Experience in engineering within a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment.
    • Expertise in automation systems, machine design, and software validation.
    • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and statistical analysis tools.
    • Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and data integrity principles.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with automation network architecture and database integration.
    • Proven ability to lead multifunctional teams and manage complex projects.
    • Familiarity with manufacturing standards development and continuous improvement methodologies.

    Other:

    • May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites
