    Stamford Hospital is seeking an experienced Perinatology RN within our Advanced Obstetrics and Gynecology department. The Registered Nurse will need to coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and follow all established standards of practice within State and Federal guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare disciplines to coordinate the delivery of care for patients. Provide supervision of non-RN personnel as necessary and act as a resource for ancillary staff. Adhere to all Stamford Hospital’s policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program. Provide safe and therapeutic care using the values inherent in our hospital culture.

     

    SCHEDULE: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am-4pm

    Required Skills

    1. Fetal Monitoring Certification required

    2. Demonstrated fetal ultrasonography competency

    3. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

    4. Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.

    5. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

    6. BLS certification required.

    7. Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually

    8. Comply with annual nursing competencies as established by the Director or Clinical Operations for MCH or her designee

    9. Computer hardware and software skills
