    Provide professional nursing care to a select high risk population in a fast-paced Medical Oncology physician office setting. Practice detailed patient management and follow-up in the coordination of patient care while managing a caseload of patients receiving a variety of treatments. Responsibilities include administering medication through injections and infusions, escorting patients, collaborating with patient navigators to educate patients on healthcare procedures, providing compassionate support to patients and their families, and assessing office workflow and proactively establishing new efficient processes.

    Schedule: Full Time - Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM (Flexible based on patient volume). No nights, weekends, or holidays.

    Location: Bennett Cancer Center

    Required Skills

    1. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
    2. Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
    3. BLS certification required.
    4. BSN highly preferred.
    5. OCN certification highly preferred. OCN certificate required by second year of employment.

    MINIMUM OF AT LEAST ONE YEAR NURSING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    3. BLS certification required.
