The RADIOLOGY NURSE coordinates and delivers patients care. Follows all established Nursing and Radiology Scope and Standards of Practice, within State and Federal guidelines. The Radiology Nurse is responsible for monitoring patient care pre, during and post procedure as well as monitoring during injections provided by departmental staff in any modalities that may require assistance. Prepares patients and all necessary pre and post biopsy documentation needed for breast procedures. Plans, assesses, implements and evaluates nursing care and quality data in order to ensure that patients and families receive an optimum level of care. Accountable for participating in departmental planning and development and establishing and achieving objectives.

**MONDAY-FRIDAY 8:00AM-4:00PM
Required Skills Required Experience
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Valid license as Registered Nurse in CT
BSN preferred
Maintains a minimum of 6 contacts hours, annually
