STAMFORD HEALTH is seeking an energetic and teamwork focused candidate to join our team as a CENTRAL SCHEDULING REPRESENTATIVE in the department of RADIOLOGY ADMINISTRATION. This is a PER DIEM, MONDAY-FRIDAY, 10AM TO 6PM WITH ROTATING SATURDAYS 8AM-12PM. DEPENDING ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SELECTED INDIVIDUAL AND SCHEDULE FLEXIBILITY, THIS OPPORTUNITY CAN TURN INTO A PART TIME OR FULL TIME POSITION. THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT OUR 1351 WASHINGTON BLVD LOCATION.
The primary functions of this position is to schedule all outpatient Radiology/Imaging examinations using the Computerized Radiology Information System Scheduling Module. Respond appropriately to all telephone inquires, from patients, physicians offices, and outside facilities in a courteous and professional manner. Collect and process accurate patient demographics, and clinical information pertinent to the requested exam as per the Radiology Administration Department policies and procedures.

Attends scheduled staff meetings, in-service education as required.
