Plans, directs and evaluates the activities of a multidisciplinary team, in the provision of training, care and treatment services for the Compliance Unit. Supervises and participates in the activities and services of direct care and ancillary program staff engaged in the observation, treatment, development and rehabilitation of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Formulates and implements treatment programs for intellectually disabled individuals served by Elisabeth Ludeman Developmental Center. Assigns and directs staff in the implementation of treatment and habilitation plans including completion of tasks such as quality assurance checks, data collection, analysis, implementation of department of public health regulations and other applicable rules and regulations; provides direction and guidance with regards to behavioral problems. implements, directs and monitors disciplinary action for the residential department. Develops and implements policy that impacts services at Ludeman Center. Verifies staffing compliance with applicable Public Health and other regulatory agency policies, standards and regulations. Identifies adequate staff/individual ratio compliance based on the clinical needs of the individuals served. Travels in the performance of duties. Minimum Requirements Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to (1) a master's degree in administration, education or the behavioral sciences and successful completion of a comprehensive training program at the Mental Health Administrator Trainee level, or (2) three years of progressively responsible professional experience in or applicable to the provision of therapeutic individual services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, or (3) three years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in, or applicable to the care, treatment and development of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Requires ability to communicate oral and written instructions to subordinate staff. Requires the ability to participate in the application of restraint procedures. Requires the ability to travel.
